WEIGHTLIFTERS from Oxfordshire have tasted success at a national championship.
The lifters, who train at St Birinus School in Didcot, and are all former students, were taking part at the British Age Group Championships in Leeds.

Boracay Arnold, 16, competed in the Under-17 55kg weight group, and easily won the group with a snatch lift of 65kg, and a clean and jerk lift of 85kg.
Corey Swaine, 21, was in the Under-23 61kg group, and took silver with a snatch lift of 75kg and a clean and jerk lift of 87kg.
St Birinus Weightlifting Club’s final lifter Sebastian Lawton, 19, competed in the Under-20 73kg group, and took the gold medal with excellent lifts of 106kg in the snatch, and 138kg in the clean and jerk.
