OXFORD United sealed a memorable return to the second tier with a thoroughly deserved win at home to Norwich City.
Mark Harris and Cameron Brannagan netted for the U’s, who were dominant for much of the game against a side which finished in the Sky Bet Championship play-offs last season.

United’s aggressive press forced the Canaries to give up possession, and in the first half in particular, the visitors found it difficult to get up the pitch.
As for the U’s, it’s a hugely encouraging start to the campaign, having been written off by many bookmakers as relegation favourites.
