YOUNGSTERS from two Abingdon clubs starred in the UK National Age Group Competition in Milton Keynes.
Ariana Sula was the stand-out performer, becoming national champion and moving up a level after a superb display.
The Miss Poppy’s GC member won the bars event for those born in 2010, as well as picking up silver on floor and bronze on beam.
The Abingdon-based club can boast three other title winners.
Rose Stevenson won gold on the floor, with Sienna Carbon claiming glory in the same event for those born in 2011.
Ethan Poon was the other champion, winning gold on both the floor and parallel bars of the level 9 boys’ competition. He also came second on the vault and third on the bars.
Kayla Murphy came second on the floor, with Annabel Moore picking up silver medals on the floor, vault and bars.
Evie Sutton was also second on the floor and vault.
Bronze medals went to Holly Ferguson on the bars and floor, as well as Libby Morgan on the floor.
In the boys’ event, Cameron Waltho finished third in the parallel bars, vault and floor events.
FunFlix GC member Sophie Horsbrugh led the way for her club, winning the vault, coming second on the beam and claiming bronze on bars.
Hannah Thewlis was also crowned national champion, winning the beam.
Other FunFlix members to come away with medals were Bailey Ball and Zara Howells, who both won silver on vault and Poppy Timberell, who took silver on beam and bronze on vault.
