ABINGDON GC can boast a host of regional champions after another superb performance by the club’s youngsters.
Competing in Southampton at the Southern Regional Age Group Championships, Holly Hancock produced a sensational routine to win the overall level 5 title.
Amber Wharton claimed bronze, with Keira Scammell also impressing.
Corinna Gooderham stormed to the level 3 crown, taking the title and qualifying for her fourth national finals in November.
At level 2, Tiegan Trafford only competed in two apparatus, but won both, claiming gold on bars and beam, setting a personal best in the former with a huge score of 14.
Olivia Kenny had an incredible competition, winning the overall gold and many apparatus medals.
She also achieved a personal best on the floor with a score of 12.85.
The duo will also be in action for the club at the national finals later this year.
In the level 4, pathway category Elsie Sumner competed for Abingdon for the first time, taking bronze.
