HALAH Thomas has secured her place in the British Figure Skating Championships later this year.
The 16-year-old from Drayton, near Abingdon, has qualified for the fourth time after a string of impressive displays.
She will be one of nine Oxfordshire skaters going for glory in Sheffield.
Thomas has represented Great Britain at international events in Slovenia, Croatia, Latvia and most recently Austria.
Last year she won three gold, six silver and three bronze medals in national competitions, culminating in a No 4 national ranking.
She will compete in the advanced novice ladies' competition, alongside Alicia Boyer, Lowenna Prigg and Arabella Sear-Watkins.
Ciera Turner Frick (basic novice ladies), Fiona Jeffrey and Evie Lewis (intermediate novice ladies) and Meisha Cooke Smith (junior ladies) are the other females from Oxfordshire taking part.
Jacob Casey (intermediate novice men) and Harry Mattick (senior men) also fly the flag, with Lewis and Casey teaming up for the basic novice pairs.
The event takes place from November 26 to December 1.
