ABINGDON AC scooped the men’s team prize at the Eynsham 10k.

The race was won by Alex Wall-Clark for Southampton AC, but his second claim club is Abingdon.

However, Calum Steer finished second, and it was the efforts of Owen Stepney (3rd), Harrison Read (4th), Les Newell (8th) and Paul Hughes (9th) who helped their club to the team accolade.

Elsewhere, Cal MacLennan tackled the Hardwolds 80-mile Ultra race through the Yorkshire Wolds, completing in 22hrs 3mins 25secs.
