KATHRYN Woodcock enjoyed success on her England debut at the Manchester International.
The Radley AC member, who trains at Loughborough University, won bronze in the discus with 47.52m.
Woodcock also impressed in the final Division 2 West fixture of the Southern League at Abingdon.
She helped Radley finish fourth overall.
Woodcock was awarded female athlete of the match after winning the hammer with a personal best of 45.17 and the discus with 44.89.
Sprinter Eima Mead delivered an outstanding performance.
He clocked a pb of 10.72secs to clinch the 100m, came second in the 200m and was part of Abingdon’s triumphant 4x100m relay team.
As a result, Mead was named the male athlete of the match.
Alex Miell-Ingram won the 1,500m, having already secured a hard-fought second in the 5,000m.
Blake Strickland Bennett was also in good form to secure strong points in the 400m hurdles, 100m hurdles, high jump and steeplechase.
Tara Kafke (800m and 200m) and Emma Haley (800m and 1,500m) enjoyed double wins.
Isla Thorne also impressed, finishing first in the 400m hurdles, as well as second in the 400m and 100m hurdles.
Abingdon AC's Duncan Talbot clinched three medals at the UK Civil Service Masters Athletics Championships at Lee Valley.
Competing for DWP, he won gold in the Vet 60 high jump, silver in the triple jump and bronze in the 100m.
Owen Stepney, of Abingdon, finished second at the Alchester 5k, with clubmates Harrison Read and Paul Hughes fifth and ninth respectively.
James Clayton was 22nd, helping the club win the men’s team prize.
