CLARE Norrish showed no signs of letting up her recent good form in finishing as the third female at Sunday’s Hanney five-mile road race.

Norrish, of White Horse Harriers, backed up her victory at the Henley Trail Half Marathon a week previously, to finish 36th and second senior lady.

Clubmate Paul Jegou was fourth, while White Horse Harriers’ men’s and women’s teams both secured second.

Abingdon’s Martin Ineson was sixth, while teammate Sarah Lackman set a new personal best in 45th.

PAUL Keating and Mark Lewy, both Abingdon, finished 18th and 19th respectively at the Crickdale Half Marathon.

The duo are preparing for the Abingdon Marathon on October 18, with Lewy coming home as the first Vet 50.

ABINGDON’S Adrienne Francis-Brewerton completed her first marathon, finishing in under five hours at the Bournemouth Festival.
