Faringdon's hopes of reaching the Oxfordshire Shield semi-finals were dashed when they suffered a hefty 45-0 defeat at Wheatley.
Jake Durbin, James Pollard, Andy Tippet and Jake Rawlinson went over in the first half, with Duncan Dingle kicking two conversions in a 24-0 scoreline.
The backs worked their magic, with Adam Muir, Rawlinson and Jason Wilson going over. Dingle converted all three second-half tries.
Abingdon went down 39-20 to Gosford All Blacks at Stratfield Brake, with both teams having players red-carded.
The visitors’ Jason Whyte and Gosford’s Liam Beesley were sent off in the second half.
Gosford led 24-3 at half-time, thanks to tries from Chris Bennett (2) and Jack Briggs, Tim Ellis converted all three and added a penalty, while Mark Roberts replied with a penalty for Abingdon.
After the break, Gosford’s Tony Baughan and Rich Cook, and Abing-don’s Vince Barnes were binned.
Eugene Griffin, Patrick Siret and Briggs completed Gosford’s try tally, while Rob Tyreman, James Webb and James Bird scored for Abingdon, Roberts converting one.
Chipping Norton and Blue Boar earn walkovers from Didcot and Littlemore respectively.
