Wallingford School triumphed 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out at home to Haberdashers’ Aske’s Knights Academy (Lewisham) in the ESFA Under 14 PlayStation Open Schools’ Cup third round.
The tie finished 2-2 at the end of normal time, with Tom Morris and an own goal providing Wallingford’s strikes.
Extra time failed to separate the sides, but Morris, Jake Vokins, Josh Deakin, Ollie Bird and Max Taylor scored in the shoot-out to see Wallingford through.
They are now at home to Ivybridge (Devon) in the last 16.
