Wallingford withstood some late pressure to overcome Aylesbury 3-2 in South League Regional 1 at the Hithercroft on Saturday.
The visitors went ahead midway through the first half with a breakaway goal.
But Wallingford replied smartly as Brett Horlock snatched the equaliser.
Two quick goals from Ed Allen and Tim Chamberlain put the home side firmly in charge.
Aylesbury reduced the deficit with five minutes left, giving Wallingford an anxious finale, but they held on for victory.
