Sir, Reverse the traffic over the iron bridge in Abingdon (Letters, July 3). Great idea. Let's not give a thought for the tranquillity of the drinkers at The Anchor.
Who cares about turning East St Helen Street into a main traffic artery. We know what that's like, when the runaway fair closes the High Street to traffic. But what happens when the whole of south Abingdon's traffic and that from Drayton and the villages beyond funnels into an already over-congested Ock Street? An idea in keeping with the AbITS philosophy.
