Oxfordshire are to face Middlesex in this weekend's National Counties Cricket Association showcase match.

The showcase competition between national and first-class counties is set to commence this Sunday at Thame Town Cricket Club.

Middlesex, in recent years, has had matches with Berkshire at Falkland Cricket Club.

The upcoming match serves as useful preparation for Middlesex's men's squad, as they gear up for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign starting on July 24 against Worcestershire at Visit Worcestershire New Road.

The match begins at 11am.

Oxfordshire has given details for those interested in attending the match.

The club is located at Thame Town Cricket Club, Church Meadow, Church Road, Thame, OX9 3AJ, and admission is free.

Parking at the club is only for players, officials, staff and blue badge holders.

Other visitors can access free parking at the ULS Technology, Travelodge (Sleepy Hollow) and Lord Williams Upper School front car parks.

Catering services, offering a variety of food and beverages, will be provided by Go Greek and The Meadows bar.

However, very limited seating will be available, so attendees are advised to bring their own chairs and seating.

Those unable to attend can view the live streaming available by Oxfordshire Cricket.

Furthermore, the nearest train station is Thame and Haddenham Parkway, with buses or taxis available from there to Thame.
