An Oxfordshire woman has been hospitalised after being involved in a car collision.
The incident occurred on Barwell in Wantage this morning (Tuesday, December 3) as members of the public spotted a woman lying in the road.
“This morning coming through Stockham on our way to school there was what looked like an accident with a child laid on the road,” said one concerned local on Facebook.
“Praying all is okay.”

A relation of the injured person confirmed that they had been taken to hospital as a result and that they were actually aged in their thirties.
“This was my sister, she is 32 [years old] but petite so I can see why people may have thought she was a child,” they responded.
“Thank you for your concern though, she is currently in hospital.”
Thames Valley Police confirmed the incident happened on Barwell and a spokesperson added: “This was a minor injury collision.”
