Didcot Railway Centre started their Steam into Christmas event last weekend with kids helping Santa find all his missing reindeer.
The event starts as you enter the centre when children receive a specially designed passport and Christmas stocking and have to find all of the reindeer which have been hidden around the 24-acre site.
They can explore the unique collection of Great Western Railway steam locomotives, carriages, wagons, buildings and small artefacts set around the original 1932 engine shed while they locate all of the reindeer stations
When they find each reindeer, kids get a present for their stocking.
The trail culminates in a visit to meet Santa himself in his grotto in the Victorian transfer shed, where they get to choose a present from a large selection housed in the vintage Travelling Post Office, one of the centre's heritage vehicles.
The branch line train then takes visitors back to explore the site at their leisure. Unlimited train rides are also available on the centre’s main demonstration line.
Tickets available now for Steam into Christmas at weekends on December 7/8 and 14/15 plus December 21, 22 and 23.
