River levels in Oxfordshire remain high as a result of persistent heavy rainfall associated with Storm Bert.
There are currently flood warnings for Oxford and temporary flood protection measures have been installed.
Oxford City Council said: "We are closely monitoring the situation, including overnight and over the weekend, and are prepared to take further action, if needed."
There are two flood warnings and flood barriers at Bullstake Close, Osney Island and South Hinksey remain in place today.

The following paths remain closed today: Marston Cyclepath. Willow Walk, Towpath from Fiddler's Island to Botley Road, Towpath from Osney Lock to Grandpont, Towpath from Folly Bridge to Donnington Bridge and Towpath from Donnington Bridge to Eastern Bypass.
Even after the floodwater recedes, the city council said please do not use the towpaths until they have been inspected and reopened and the 'towpath closed' signs have been removed.
Floodwater can damage the structural integrity of the towpaths, meaning some sections could give way underfoot, the council said.
Across Oxfordshire there are 17 flood warnings in place.
Culham Bridge is still closed, the road from Clifton Hampden to Long Wittenham including the bridge is closed, Islip bridge is closed and the ring road at Marston towards Woodeaton and Islip is closed.
Abingdon Road reopened yesterday.
Waste and recycling collections are going ahead as planned though there may be some delays due to road closures and redirected traffic.
