Pictures show emergency services dealing with a major crash which caused drivers to be struck for four hours.
The A34 southbound between Didcot and Chilton has been closed since around 1pm after a major crash.
Photos show police and ambulance at the scene this afternoon, with what looks like a flat-bed lorry facing the wrong way.
An air ambulance was also dispatched.

It is currently unknown when the road will reopen.
One driver said: “Been stuck for almost four hours in-between Milton and Chilton, no sign of movement. Not sure what is happening or when we will get moving. Feeling for everyone.”
In a statement issued earlier this afternoon, Thames Valley Police said: “The A34 southbound carriageway between Milton and Chilton is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle.
“The road is likely to remain closed for several hours while investigations are under way.
“We would ask the public to please avoid the area and find alternative routes while emergency services are dealing with the incident.
“If you witnessed the incident or have any dash-cam footage that may help our investigation please call 101 quoting 855 of today (20/11).”
