An Oxfordshire man has been arrested following an A34 crash which hospitalised a motorcyclist and closed the road.
The incident occurred at around 11.11pm yesterday (Saturday, November 16) as a road traffic collision between a car and a motorbike happened on the A34 southbound.
This was between the junctions for the A420 and the A44 leading to the section of road being closed by the emergency services.
Thames Valley Police attended and said that the motorcyclist, a man in his fifties, sustained non-life threatening injuries and remains in hospital currently on Sunday.

A 48-year-old man from Abingdon was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving and driving over the prescribed limit of specified controlled drugs.
The suspect remains in police custody at this stage.
A spokesperson for the force said: “If anyone has any information about the incident, please call 101 quoting 43240555926.”
The road reopened and returned to a normal flow of traffic after over two hours as the emergency services attended the scene.

At the time of the incident, an update from National Highways said: “Traffic is being held on the A34 northbound between A420 Botley and A44 Peartree Roundabout following a collision involving a car and pedestrian.
“Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service are on scene.
“No incidents on the northbound carriageway. Diversion details to follow.”
