A serving police officer in Oxfordshire has been charged with a sexual offence and named.
PC Daniel Hunt was charged on Wednesday, October 23, with one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
The offence occurred in Wallingford on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
Following an investigation by the force, the 32-year-old serving Thames Valley Police officer has been charged with the sex offence.

Hunt, who is stationed at Maidenhead Police Station, was arrested on January 25 this year and has been suspended from duty since that date.
TVP revealed the news in an update on their website on Friday morning and Hunt is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 29 this year.
