A bestselling author gave a talk in south Oxfordshire to discuss how to have "extraordinary" relationships with absolutely everyone.
Lucy Cavendish, a “love coach” from Henley, spoke at the Coaching Barn near Wallingford to share her wisdom on relationships as part of an ongoing UK tour.
She said: “I’ve done most of the publicity myself and I decided to take the book on the road and get out and meet people.
“There are always people who want to come up and share their experiences with me and I get lots of feedback.”

The author explained that the evening started with how her career developed from journalist to counsellor to author after reaching a “crisis point”.
“There was a series of really awful things that happened within the space of a year, and what really kept me together was being able to lean on my friendships and my family in a way that I hadn’t before,” she explained.
“The reason I tell this story is because I think it’s helpful for people – a lot of people get into a crisis point, which is exactly where I was four years ago.”
Topics at her talks include taking responsibility in relationships, changing personal narratives, understanding relationships with others and knowing how to improve them.
