A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries as police raced to a well-known railway centre.
The incident occurred at around noon yesterday (Tuesday, November 12) as Thames Valley Police was called to Didcot Railway Centre on Station Road in Didcot.
A volunteer worker at the centre had a work related incident which resulted in serious injuries and required an air ambulance to take him to hospital.
Police and land ambulances also attended the scene and officers have confirmed the man to be in a stable condition.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: “Officers were called to Didcot Railway Centre at around 12.11pm yesterday (November 12) to reports of a work related incident whereby a volunteer worker was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
“Officers are in the process of contacting the health and safety executive and joint enquiries will be ongoing.”
