The first South Oxfordshire Christmas Fair is set to take place next week.
The event, scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, at The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel and Spa, near Thame, will raise money for Sobell House Hospice and the Watlington Hospital Charitable Trust.
The fair will follow the same format as the Watlington Hospital Christmas Fair, which has drawn crowds from Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire for more than 20 years.
The only changes are the fair's new name and the addition of Sobell House Hospice as a second charity beneficiary.
The Oxford-based hospice provides palliative care to adults living in Oxfordshire while the Watlington Hospital Charitable Trust supports the Watlington and District Nursing Home.
With more than 50 stalls, the fair will showcase both new, independent businesses and familiar favourites.
Attendees can expect a range of products, from cashmere sweaters and stationery to children's stocking fillers and homemade Christmas cakes.
Handcrafted candles by Chapel House Candles, Spanish olive oil from Fino Olive Oils, Henley Distillery’s award-winning drinks, and gifts for pets from Hugo & Celine will be among the offerings.
There will also be expanded options for lunch and coffee, and ample parking space available.
Favourites like Sarah Foreman's faux flowers and plants, So Souk's artisan homeware, Auree Jewellery, Chuka Belts, and Sophie’s Ribbons will also feature.
"If you’re looking for a wonderful, thoughtful gift, you’re sure to find it at the fair," organisers said.
