More than 200 people attended Oxford United's first mental health workshop on Monday (November 11).
The event, part of the club's 'Can We Talk?' campaign, was organised in collaboration with Oxfordshire Mind and the Joey Beauchamp Foundation.
Men's first team manager Des Buckingham, player Will Vaulks, and other Oxford United men's players attended in a bid to raise awareness about mental health.
The workshop, led by a team from Oxfordshire Mind, educated attendees on the mental health services available in Oxfordshire and how to access them.
Information was also provided on self-care, including guidance on Mind's 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' - simple actions people can take daily to improve their mental health.
A discussion panel saw Mr Vaulks, Luke Beauchamp, the brother of Oxford United legend Joey, Oxfordshire Mind’s CEO, Jess Willsher, and Mr Buckingham shared their personal experiences and their strategies for managing mental health.
The night ended with an "uplifting" session where attendees gathered around tables to share their takeaways from the evening and openly discussed their own mental health.
An Oxford United spokesman said: "A massive thank you goes to all those in attendance, Oxfordshire Mind, the Joey Beauchamp Foundation, Oxford United in the Community, the stadium company for hosting the space, and those who bravely spoke in front of the group.
"This conversation will continue as we come together as one to continue to say, We Can Talk."
