The Oxford Mail's Property of the Week for this week is an 18th century stately home which has been in the same family for more than half a century.
Built as part of the Gibbs estate in the early 18th century, Courtiers is an historic village house which has been in the same family for more than 52 years.
The Georgian facade has an "immediate sense of grandeur", yet offers "manageable proportions" for the modern family, says Savills.
The 3,081 square foot property, Courtiers is set over three floors, plus a wine cellar.
The Georgian property is located in Clifton Hampden, a village on the north bank of the River Thames, just over 3 miles east of Abingdon.
It is on the market for a guided price of £1,500,000.
The Grade II listed house has five bedrooms and features high ceilings and many original details including wood panelling, window seats and an oak staircase.

A number of the rooms are double or triple aspect with views over the vast gardens.
Courtiers is approached from the lane, through wide double wooden gates leading to a gravel driveway which runs between the lawn and gardens with fruit trees and topiary.
There is an iron gate in the walled garden which leads to the formal entrance with its classically designed portico at the front of the house.
The ground floor of the house consists of two formal reception rooms with large windows and original painted wood panelling.
