A hit BBC period drama is set to return after nearly a decade and will feature a historic estate near the Oxfordshire border.
Series two of the popular Wolf Hall, titled The Mirror and the Light, first aired on BBC One at 9pm on Sunday.
The drama follows the life of Tudor statesman Thomas Cromwell and will pick up where the first series ended, with the death of Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boleyn.
The BBC has confirmed that Great Chalfield Manor, between Melksham and Bradford on Avon, will once again feature as Austin Friars, the home of Thomas Cromwell, played by Sir Mark Rylance.
The National Trust estate was also used alongside Lacock Abbey for filming during the first series of the show, which aired in 2015.
Alongside Rylance, series two will star Damian Lewis, Timothy Spall, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Sir Jonathan Pryce, Kate Phillips, and more.
The six-episode series is the latest edition in the adaptation of the novel written by Dame Hilary Mantel.
Other filming locations around the south west confirmed by the BBC include Forde Abbey in Chard, Wells Cathedral in Somerset, Montacute House in South Somerset, and Horton Court near Chipping Sodbury in Gloucestershire.
The show is also available on iPlayer.
