Trains are being cancelled this evening due to a signalling failure. 

Services between London Paddington and Reading are being impacted, which could delay people travelling to and from Oxford

Train operator Great Western Railway (GWR) said: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between London Paddington and Reading, some lines are blocked.

“Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled or delayed.

“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

The statement added: “Ticket acceptance is in place with the following operators: Railways between Oxford and London Marylebone.

“Elizabeth Line between Reading and London Paddington.

“London Underground via any reasonable route.

“SWR between Windsor and Eton Riverside and London Waterloo.

“CrossCountry between Reading and Oxford.”
