The secondary school application process for September 2025 has opened.
Parents and carers of Year 6 children in Oxfordshire can now apply for a Year 7 place for September 2025.
As in previous years, parents are invited to choose a first preference along with three other options.
Councillor John Howson, Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet member for children, education, and young people’s services, said: "It is important to use the opportunity to name four schools.
"This will not make it less likely that your first preference will be offered.
"However, it does reduce the risk of all preferences being unsuccessful – if four schools are named – and your child being allocated a place at a school not shown on their list."
The admission process runs until the end of October and late applications will be processed after those submitted before the deadline.
