Advisers and IT specialists in South Oxfordshire are wanted as volunteers by Citizens Advice.
Oxfordshire South and Vale Citizens Advice is looking for individuals to help their community from its offices in Abingdon, Didcot, Henley or Thame.
The volunteer workforce gives people knowledge and confidence, solving an array of problems.
Advisers will undergo extensive training to offer confidential advice in person and over the phone concerning issues like benefits, housing, employment and debt.
The organisation said the role will give volunteers a "sense of belonging" from "working with people from all backgrounds".
A new adviser training course will begin in early October, with applications open now.
Meanwhile, IT specialists will aid in maintaining the IT systems and the Oxfordshire South and Vale Citizens Advice website.
They will also help staff handle day-to-day IT issues, such as trouble logging on, connecting to Wi-Fi or locating files.
Citizens Advice said it would like volunteers to be available for two sessions per week, if possible, either mornings or afternoons or for a whole day.
In a typical year, the organisation's 111 volunteers support around 10,000 people, playing a "vital role" in ensuring people receive the advice and support they need.
Citizens Advice is also welcoming volunteer receptionists, fund raisers, communication workers and HR administration.
