A NEW Labour candidate for Henley and Thame has been announced ahead of the General Election.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced this week that an election will take place on July 4.
Following the surprise election announcement, Alexandra Aldridge-Gibbons, the previous Labour candidate for Henley and Thame, decided to step down for personal reasons.

She has been replaced by Nanda Manley-Browne, a Lambeth councillor, who formerly represented Brixton North in London.
Cllr Manley Browne works in the NHS and is a school governor.
On her councillor page, it reads: “As a councillor, she has fought to help reduce poverty, inequality, and pollution, by improving services and creating new opportunities, for all residents, especially our children and young people, and those from protected characteristics.”
