Ballet dancers in Oxfordshire were given a masterclass by a top artistic director.
Robert Parker, from Elmhurst Ballet School, visited Downland Dance Ballet School at Aureus School's dance studio for a day of masterclasses.
Young dancers, aged 11-14, received artistic advice and technical corrections from Mr Parker. He also led them through a barre warm up and tips on how to win over an audience.
After the class, he held a Q&A for parents and students, providing insight into professional dance life, life at Elmhurst where he is artistic director, and vocational dance training.
Elmhurst Ballet School is a feeder to the Royal Ballet companies in London and Birmingham.
Older students, aged 15 and above, also enjoyed a masterclass.
Downland Dance plans to host more open masterclasses for enthusiasts across Oxfordshire.
