Cricket clubs have given tribute to former umpire Don Brooks following his recent passing.
Mr Brooks was best renowned in the area for standing in the Oxford University vs Cambridge University varsity clashes at Lord's, most recently in 2018.
"Oxfordshire Cricket is saddened to hear of the passing of Don Brooks", the club wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
It added: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue, Nathan, Jack, Nicole and the family at this time."
Mr Brooks' son Jack is head coach of Banbury Cricket Club, having been appointed in December 2023 on a two-year deal.
Paying homage to its head coach's father, the club wrote: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with Jack and the whole family, at this very sad time".
