“School has to be closed due to an electrical fault,” a statement said on the school’s website. “Sorry for any inconvenience caused”.
Oxfordshire County Council, the education authority, confirmed on its website that the college is “closed due to electrical light failures”.
The authority said the closure, which appears to apply to all pupils, will last for the day.
The college, which has a specialist status in engineering, teaches pupils from ages 11 to 18 at its site on the edge of Faringdon.
