A SOUTH Oxfordshire farm is being transformed into a festival site for 6,000 music lovers and artists.
Stages, speakers, stalls, and fencing is going up at Hill Farm, Steventon, as part of preparations for the Truck Festival.
The event, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, is one of Oxfordshire's biggest and best-loved outdoor gatherings, and will play host to more than 50 bands and artists.
Organisers Robin and Joe Bennett, who live in the village, won permission to expand capacity at the site, to give more festival-goers an opportunity to join the weekend of fun.
It will be the 11th Truck Festival to take place at Hill Farm, and Robin is predicting a vintage year.
He said: "We have gone for a wide variety of bands, and have a very diverse line-up."
Robin said the appeal of the festival was its ability to stage bands just before they become big - as well as good quality acts that are just good fun.
