Police are hoping to claw back hundreds of thousands of pounds it is spending in planning operations for the London 2012 Olympics.
Thames Valley Police expects to spend £333,000 in organising extra policing in the region during the summer games.
The force has so far received £110,000 refund from the Home Office, but the force is hopeful of receiving more.
