Police today appealed for witnesses after two men were assaulted in High Street, Abingdon.
At around 3am on Saturday, a disturbance broke out near to the Blue Boar pub and a 23-year-old and a 29-year old man were assaulted.
Det Con Dave Evans said: "Both men were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment. One man had an injury to his eye and the other had a nasty cut on his head.
"There were plenty of people still around at this time, including taxi drivers and delivery drivers, who may have witnessed this assault. I urge anyone with any information to contact me."
