The charity’s coveted ‘Christopher Quinton Award’ went to Victor Puddick, who has been a reading helper in Bicester for more than 14 years.
Upon receiving his award, he gave a speech describing his own difficult history with reading, which inspired him to help children with the same experience.
Since 2008, ARCh and its well-trained volunteers have inspired more than 10,000 children to read.
