ROSS Jenkins is open to the possibility of taking one of Oxford United’s talented youngsters on loan.
United’s Under-18s booked a place in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup last week, with both Gatlin O’Donkor and Josh Johnson those enjoying first team football this campaign.
O’Donkor had a loan spell with Oxford City last season and head coach Jenkins would be keen on a deal for another rising star provided they add to his Hoops squad.

Jenkins said: “It’s brilliant they’re doing so well, I love it when young players achieve something in the FA Youth Cup.
“I think that’s something that the club needs to be proud of, and the players as well.
“If we can have a look at their squad and see if someone can add something to us, then 100 per cent I’d be look at the view of doing it.”
Jenkins has already recruited defender Jack Davies and goalkeeper Archie Matthews, on loan from MK Dons and Swansea City respectively, this month.
He said: “I’ll always look at any player, I spend most of my day looking at young players and players who are needing games at big clubs.
“We’re looking at all leagues and all players, I spend a lot of my days making sure that I’m aware of what’s out there.”
