A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead with “serious injuries”.
Thames Valley Police officers were called to Blue Mountains in Wallingford yesterday (August 30) at 2am.
When police arrived at the scene a woman in her forties was found to have suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man from Wallingford, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Jon Capps, of Thames Valley Police, said: “A scene watch is currently in place. If anyone has any concerns, please speak to one of our officers.”
