A TEA and cake shop in Oxfordshire has closed its doors for the final time after 11 years of trading.
Lily’s Tea Room, in High Street, Dorchester, near Wallingford, officially closed on Sunday (August 21).
In a statement on Facebook, owners said: “We are sad to announce that after 11 years of trading, Lily’s Tea Room will be closing this weekend.

“We would like to thank all our amazing staff, suppliers and of course the customers over the years.”
Commenting online, many residents who loved the shop were devastated to see it close.
One person commented: “Truly sorry to hear this, it was my favourite tearoom in the shire.
“I loved everything from the beautiful china, the wallpaper, the delicious cakes, breakfasts, soups and the lovely warm welcome from all the staff.”
