A POST office in Sutton Courtenay will be temporarily closed for “urgent” building work.

The post office in High Street will be closed for two weeks from Wednesday at 4.45pm until Friday, September 2 at 9am.

During the work, the alternative post offices recommended for residents are:

  • Milton Post Office, Milton Park, Milton, Abingdon
  • Drayton Post Office, The Green, Drayton, Abingdon
  • Abingdon Post Office, West St Helen Street, Abingdon

Graham Simmons, the post office network provision lead, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. 

“The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
