TEMPERATURES across Oxfordshire today (11) will be hotter than Ibiza as the second heatwave of the year hits the county.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from today until Sunday (14) with “extreme heat” set to hit parts of the UK and Wales.
This comes after a week-long heatwave in July which saw the UK temperature hitting 40°C for the first time.

Temperatures today are set to hit highs of 32°C by about 6pm which will be hotter than Ibiza which will hit highs of 31°C by about midday.
Oxford will be hotter than the popular holiday destination again tomorrow (12) with highs hitting 32°C again at about 2pm while Ibiza remains at 31°C by about 2pm.
However, Ibiza remains hotter on Saturday (13) and Sunday (14) with highs of 35°C and 32°C while the weather in Oxford will hit 32°C and 31°C.

By Monday (15), the yellow weather warning has been lifted by the Met Office with rain throughout the day and the Tuesday (16).
