A NEW recording studio could be opening in Henley.
Pablo Diablo's Legitimate Business Firm Limited has applied to South Oxfordshire District Council, the planning authority, to change the use of a garage in Patemore Lane, Pishill into a recording studio.
The business has also proposed “minor external alterations” to the garage which is located behind The Crown Inn pub which has been temporarily closed due to the change of ownership and refurbishment.

The pub is currently being used by the freelance studio staff and it is hoped they will be relocated into the studio when the pub is reopened.
Changes proposed include the two garage doors being updated as well as a second access door being installed.
Two roof lights are also proposed but no external pedestrian pathways are needed as well as re-surfacing or paving.
The planning authority aims to reach a decision by September 27. However, the application is hoping the the work will be completed by September 25.
In a planning, design and access statement, the business said: “The applicant is under extreme time pressure to start work due to the scheduled launch of a new show on September 25 that will be recorded in the proposed studio.

"Work at risk may therefore need to commence at some point during the application determination process.
“Whilst this is not ideal, it is unavoidable due to the recently agreed scheduling commitment.”
