Former Church of England parish priest, broadcaster, and best-selling author Reverend Richard Coles visited an independent bookshop in Abingdon to celebrate his new murder mystery book.
Rev Coles attended Mostly Books, an independent bookshop in Abingdon to sign copies of his new book Murder Before Evensong on Saturday.

Staff at the shop including the owner Sarah Dennis and Alfie the shop dog, attended the signing and there are only a few signed copies left.

A spokesperson at Mostly Books said: “We were delighted to feature in his whistlestop tour of some of Oxfordshire's bookshops.
"Richard was extremely friendly, and the team had a great time meeting him and hearing more about his book, and his beloved dogs, as he was very taken with our bookshop dog, Alfie, the Lakeland Terrier.”
