STUDENTS from Didcot Girls School trialled a new type of work experience with Thames Valley Police.
Seventeen students from the school in Manor Crescent visited Abingdon Police Station in Colwell Drive this week.
Thames Valley Police are trialling a new type of work experience after they suspended the normal procedures due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new experience includes one full day of inviting different police departments to come and talk to students about what they do and demonstrate they equipment they use day-to-day.
The South and Vale Commander, Superintendent Lis Knight, welcomed Didcot students as the first to trial the new procedure.
Superintendent Dave Horsburgh gave them a tour of the station, they had a drone demonstration from the protection group, met police dog Rocco, and had various talks from Neighbourhood Policing, CID, Road Safety, Response officers, and more.
