ORGANISERS of an annual charity music festival have thanked volunteers for helping the event go ahead.
BrightFest returned on Saturday (11) at the recreation ground on Mackney Lane in Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell, near Wallingford, and offered music for all tastes along with children's games and refreshments.
This year the festival was raising money for a life-saving defibrillator to be installed at the village's Jubilee Pavilion and the refurbishment of the community's Stewart Village Hall.

Funds were also being raised for Brightwell Pre-school and Brightwell Primary School, through money raised by a Kids Zone area, and for the Bone Cancer Charity, with cash raised at the tea tent.
On Facebook, an organiser of the event said: “Many volunteers were involved in making it happen, thank you to everyone involved, you’ve all been absolutely awesome.”
