A HUGE afternoon tea fit for a queen was served to elderly residents to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
The teatime party was hosted by the Ray Collins Charitable Trust on Saturday and saw almost 60 pensioners from Wantage treated to a spread of Coronation Chicken sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche, and scones.
Bumblebee Kitchen and Ardington Bakery made all the tasty treats and volunteers from the Ray Collins Charitable Trust served the food and drink.

The Platinum Party at the Palace concert was projected onto a screen for everyone to watch.
Ray Collins, founder of the Ray Collins Charitable Trust, said: “Everyone went home full to bursting and full of fun.”
He added: “This is why we do what we do, making a real difference in our community.”
