AN internet radio station run by volunteers is going live on the airwaves this weekend.
Wallingford Radio 107.3fm is launching this Saturday (30) at 6am.
The station, which was founded by Ian Fell, Sarah Pentecost and Liam O’Brien, was only available to listen to on the internet and the TuneIn app but the friends from Cholsey were keen to get it on the airwaves.

The station reports on local news, including town council meetings, and it also has a mobile studio trailer which is taken to events for outside broadcasts.
A launch event is taking place at Ayres Yard, next to the florists, and Mayor Marcus Harris will be attending for a ribbon cutting at 12.15pm.
The event is open to members of the public.
