An Oxford court has banned people from visiting a house because of antisocial behaviour.

Oxford Magistrates' Court issued a closure order to the occupants of 11 Pudsey Close in Abingdon.

The closure order was made on April 22, for a maximum three months and covers the whole house.

The court stated that access to the property was prohibited to any person for that time period except occupants, emergency services and housing association staff.

Closure orders are put in place to deal with public nuisance and disorder.

The process to close premises goes through two stages – the issuing of a closure notice followed by the issuing of a closure order.
