Burglars stole jewellery and other sentimental items after breaking into a house in Faringdon.
The burglary happened between 8am and 6pm on Monday in Cottage Road, Stanford in the Vale.
Thames Valley police is now appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jamie Lawes, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who may have been in this area during this time and may have dash-cam footage, CCTV or have been in the area and witnessed anything to please get in touch.”

Police ask people who have information about the incident to get in touch with them either by making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220177614.
