A library is celebrating its 50th birthday by taking a trip back to the 70s with a nostalgic display.
On March 14, Grove Library will be marking 50 years by going back to 1972 with a nostalgic display of 70s memorabilia, including some of the bestselling books of 1972, fashion, pictures and film.
Staff, volunteers and councillors will be marking the occasion with a small birthday celebration – including cake – at 2pm.

Councillor Neil Fawcett said: “Libraries are a critical part of so many of our communities. They provide a safe and welcoming space and are trusted, free to use and open to everyone.
“I am delighted Grove Library served its local communities for 50 years and hope residents and media can join volunteers and staff to mark the occasion on 14 March.”
